I grew up in the heart of California, around vineyards and a family who loved to cook in a house that was always open for parties. I attended culinary school and found my love for exploring how food pairs with coffee and wine and how various textures of ingredients either elevate or compete with what they are next to. The most important thing I learned though, was that salt enhances flavor. Everything is better with salt.
